First off, I have to say thank you SO SO much for the love on my last post! It was unreal how many sweet comments and messages I received and I am happy that you all loved it. I am truly loving getting real and honest with you guys and my ‘Real Talk Thursdays’ are a great way for me to do that so I’ll definitely be continuing that series!
But for my other posts, we are still going to talk about all of the shoes, outfits, and yes, home decor.
Today’s post is allll about that popular topic. Home decor goodies and some fun (& unique) places to shop.
There are so many amazing interior lines in popular stores nowadays. You can find some really Trendy items at Target, at a super affordable price. H&M now has a home line, which is again, at an amazing price. And just about everyone loves West Elm. (If you don’t then, wtf?)
But I think we can all agree that small & unique pieces are what really pull a home together to make it feel, well, like a home. Shopping local is one of my favorite things to do, especially for home decor pieces. Whether it’s a market or thrift store, you’re guaranteed to find something no one else has and that is going to add some personal flair to your space.
Don’t live near a market? Hate thrift shopping (Again, wtf)?
One word. ETSY.
If you haven’t heard of Etsy, it’s basically a giant flea market. But online. There are so many amazing handmade items you can find on this website, and you can still see reviews as you would buying from any other website. Amazing, right?
Etsy has a handful of different categories from wedding invites, to dog collars, to clothing, and yes, home decor. This is by far my favorite place to shop for home decor, mainly because the site offers such a unique variety of pieces handmade by some incredible people.
So below, I’ve rounded up five of my favorite Etsy shops for home decor. Get ready!
This is the first Etsy shop I ever ordered from. I saw these prints on a YouTubers page I follow (Acacia Brinley) and I had to get them. They are the most beautiful prints I have ever seen and there are so so many sweet choices to choose from. I have multiple of these and every one that I have received has been gorgeous. These are an affordable price and they’re really easy to download. Once you buy, you will be sent a download link. You can use this link to print your poster and then head to Hobby Lobby, buy a frame, and display it wherever you want in your home. I promise you will not be disappointed with this shop!
You guys know I love a good macrame. I have several of these hanging in my home. They are a great way to take up space on a wall, but it’s something a little more unique than a picture frame. This shop is so great for these wall hangings because she has hundreds of different styles for you to choose from. There are also plant hangers, which are going for really high prices right now in stores like Urban Outfitters + Anthropologie. Why not grab something handmade for you instead?
OK. This shop is one of my favorites. If you know me, you know my love for plants is steadily growing and that I am slowly but surely building up a collection. These planters are designed (so well) to hold your favorite little tree and they look AMAZING. These planters go for some real money in stores like West Elm or Anthropologie, but you get so many options to choose from on this Etsy shop. You can pick from so many sizes, colors, and styles that you’ll be out buying more plants just so you can display them in these adorable planters! (Any excuse to buy a new plant, right?)
You have probably heard of this blanket before. It’s popular on Instagram and it looks amazing on any surface you put it in your home. These chunky blankets took over the internet last year and this shop is the original. The real OG. Yes, they’re pricey. But honestly, you’re getting a really nice blanket handmade and hand knitted for you. That’s totally worth it if you ask me. These look amazing draped over your couch or at the edge of your bed. Plus, they are so big and cozy that you will probably never get out from under it. I promise, this shop is worth a look.
Last, but not least at all. If you haven’t already noticed, I love prints in my home. These are so affordable and so chic. Most photo sets can go for $60+ in stores like Target or HomeGoods even. These are files that you download and get printed at your local Walgreens or CVS, and BAM. Look how much money you just saved and you got to scroll through hundreds of prints to find the exact one you wanted. The prints are such good quality and they look particularly well in a space that you need to add some color too. If you don’t look at any other of these shops, you have to try this one!
