Hello babes and Happy Saturday! (Finally, am I right?) I cant get over how long this week felt and how happy I am to see the weekend! Hopefully this means more warm weather too. I can’t stand the cold anymore, all I want to wear is sundresses and sneaks.
Let me just tell you. When I wore this outfit I was so. damn. comfortable. Also, I don’t recommend walking in the street for photography purposes but it results in a very cute picture. My photographer told me to let him know if any cars were coming and I completely failed, but thankfully he was more aware than I was. I think I was distracted trying to walk while still looking chic (not as easy as it looks people.)
Anyway, this outfit is one of my favorites. Not only did the off the shoulder crop give me a sneak of Spring, but it paired back perfectly to the rest of the look. I know it’s not full on Spring weather yet so I paired it with my trusty denim jacket to keep me warm. You guys, if you haven’t gotten your 2018 denim jacket yet, I HIGHLY recommend this one. If you follow me on insta, you’ll know that I wear it. A lot.
Theres a couple different ways to style a denim jacket! Heres a couple of my favorites:
Drape it! Draping your jacket over your shoulder not only looks super stylish, but it shows off your outfit more, especially if you want whats under it to show. This is by far my favorite way to style my denim jacket, as you can see from my photos! Lol!
Roll it! If you’re not too fussed on showing off whats underneath + you want your denim jacket to be your main focus, then put it on and roll up your sleeves a couple times to give it that oversized vintage look! This works very well especially with an oversized mens denim jacket, like the one I linked earlier and the one I have on!
Tie it! Tie it around your waist if you don’t want to cover up your top, or if you just think your look deserves a little something extra. Plus, if you get cold, you have it right there with you!
Pair it with ANYTHING. Don’t be afraid to wear your denim jacket with more denim, a black silk dress, sweatpants, or a sundress. There are so many options which makes this jacket such a versatile piece in your wardrobe!
