Every single year I say the. same. exact. thing. During Summer it’s, “I wish it was cold out” and during Winter it’s, “I can’t wait for it to be warm again.” This year, no exception. I cannot, NOT NOT NOT, wait for the warmer weather. Spring is my favorite. I think everyone is a fan of ‘in-between’ seasons like Spring and Fall, just because that limbo is the best time for personal and fashion transitions.
I think having your own style is the most trendy thing you can have. Style isn’t trendy, style is your OWN. But, I’m not going to deny that seasonal trends are pretty much the only thing you can find in most retail stores, so being aware of them is key to mixing, matching, and having fun! Plus, looking at trends is a great inspiration for trying new things and finding what works best for you.
Let’s get into it babes!
I am LOVING this trend. It’s always the style choices that most people would think “oh, no!” that turn out the best. As I said before, style is your own thing. Don’t be afraid to step out of the box and do something most people would’t. Chances are that they would, but they’re just too scared. This print mixing is just that. Mixing two different stripe patterns is an amazing way to style a top and culottes, but definitely add a fun, floral blazer if you’re not afraid of some flair. Florals and polka dots is another one of my favorites!
You guys know this is my shit. I am obsessed with double-denim right now and I could wear it everyday if I could, and I pretty much do. A denim jacket is a must-have in your wardrobe for both fall, winter and spring! As you all know, my favorite denim jacket is this oversized one from Urban Outfitters. Also, check out how I style double denim here! I love mixing denim whether its a denim jacket, button down, skirt, and/or denim pants. Adding in a white top underneath and a belt is great way to break up the denim but still stick with the trend.
Nothing screams Spring more than pastels! And not just in clothing, but shoes too. These colors are a sweet approach to any piece, whether it’s a blazer or a dress. They also look amazing in different patterns like checkered, and different fabrics like tweed. I mean, how perfect are these colors? I will definitely be styling a pastel blazer with some denim and pumps soon!
Another one of my favorites are these eclectic pants. I love to wear denim but this just steps it up a notch. And another notch. And then another. Talk about taking denim from day to night. These fun jeans are the perfect match for any date night or night out. Pair them with a plain tee for the perfect brunch outfit or with a black bodysuit for the perfect Saturday night look. Either way, these fancy pants are designed to impress.
There’s no doubt that sheer equals sexy. This trend is the most romantic of them all, and it looks just as amazing whether it’s a dress, skirt, or shirt. Tea length dresses and skirts have the sweet touch to them already, but adding sheer to them just makes them that much more sultry. Also, this is one of the best trends for Valentines Day coming up! Pair a sheer top with a black lace bralette underneath to really steal the show.
What’s your favorite trend this season?

Talk to you soon babes xx

It’s funny because I actually just made a post featuring my double denim look. I’m big on print mixing too, because I’m always looking to make a statement, and you can never go wrong with pastel colors! Love your outfit!
Great minds think alike! Thank you!
I love denim on denim, have been a fan ever since Justin and Britney rocked it – lol! I really liked it styled with a stripey top – may have to steal that idea 🙂
I love that! Total credit to Justin and Britney for starting this trend, lol! Yes, denim looks so good with patterns, especially florals too for Spring!
You look so chic!! I love denim on denim.
