We all know food is the real MVP when it comes to the Holidays.
But the runner up? The dranks.
Appetizers and drinks are my favorite part of any party. They’re the prelude into what’s to come and the first thing guests will see when they arrive. You bet they have to look amazing, but they have to actually taste incredible too.
I’m going to share with you 5 recipes that will help set your Holiday aesthetic for any party this season. Not only will these drinks help liven the party, you can also make any of these without alcohol for your guests who don’t drink.
For these recipes, it will help if you have a cocktail shaker. It will also help if it’s a really cute one like this, this, or this. The cuter the shaker, the better the drinks. OK, that’s not true but whatever.
- Yule Mule
A mule is one of the most popular Holiday drinks. This one is like the Moscow Mule, but with a cranberry twist. You will need:
- 4 oz vodka
- 1.5 oz fresh squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 4 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
- 6 oz ginger beer
- 4 to 6 cranberries (for garnish)
- rosemary sprig (for garnish)
Fill your shaker with ice & shake together the vodka, lime juice, and cranberry juice.
Fill 2 copper mugs with ice and strain half of the cocktail into the mugs.
Fill the rest of the mugs with ginger beer and top it off with cranberries and your rosemary.

2. Apple Cider Mimosas
This recipe is by-far the easiest! It only take two ingredients to make these, other than your garnish. You will need:
- 3 oz apple cider
- 3 oz champagne
- brown sugar & apple slices for garnish (optional)
Just pour the apple cider into a champagne flute and then pour in your champagne. Easy peasy!
These flutes are gorgeous if you’re looking for something festive!
3. Blushing Whiskey Sour
This drink is gorgeous and so simple to make! Make sure you have:

Add all ingredients to your shaker, and shake until your blackberries begin to break up to create a blush color.
Strain into a glass packed with the crushed ice. Then, just garnish with some extra blackberries. how easy is that!?
4. Spiced Sugar Cookie Martini
This one is for you sweet tooths! Everyone loves a sugar cookie around Christmas time, so why not make it into a drink!?

- 3 oz amaretto

Add ice into your cocktail shaker and shake up all ingredients for 30 counts. Strain it into 2 chilled martini glasses and serve.
